NC Office of Rural Health Telehealth Infrastructure Grant
First Step has been awarded this grant specifically to expand telehealth services to rural and underserved communities across North Carolina. Through this funding, eligible families can access our services at reduced or no cost, and receive the technology they need to participate.
You may qualify if your family meets any of the criteria on the right. Contact us and we will guide you through the eligibility process — it’s simple and confidential.
You reside in a rural or underserved NC county — 85 of NC's 100 counties qualify
Household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level
You or your child is enrolled in Medicaid or NC Health Choice
Your family participates in SNAP, WIC, SSI, or Lifeline
Your child receives Free or Reduced Price School Lunch
You lack reliable internet access at home
